Personal - Faith

RasTafari is not a religion. That word comes from the Latin religare, to retie or bind. It is to do with social control exercised by church hierarchies, through manipulating the natural human desire for wholeness and to return to the source of life.

RasTafari is rather a faith, a inner knowledge of the I-vine presence. It is also a philosophy based on the principle of naturality - that the most beautiful thing that I&I can be is our natural, essential self. RasTa seeks to strip away the conditioning that tells us to pretend to be this or that. Be Oneself and in that Oneness JaH will manifest.
