Bob Marley made a number of extraordinary and revolutionary LPs during his lifetime. Legend was not one of them. It is a posthumous attempt to milk his legacy by combining his 'safest' songs together to make him mainstream accessible.

Having said that, it was a nice thing to have Legend with pictures. There is some great concert footage and 'Buffalo Soldier' is a classic. Aotearoa featured strongly, with scenes of Marley participating in a powhiri cut into the vid for 'Jamming' and the music interspersed with footage from the famous Tait interviews in Auckland.

Including the biopic 'Time will Tell' on the DVD also means I was left with a sense of getting something substantial for my money. Nothing new in the package and no surprises but nice to have it all in one place.
